BLOCK A WEBSITE :

If you want to block a website on your computer then go to "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc " Then open the file hosts with the notepad. Then under this line "127.0.0.1       localhost"
write 127.0.0.1     and your desired website which you want to block. example -

127.0.0.1      www.facebook.com  ; if you wish to block facebook on your computer.
127.0.0.1       www.yahoo.com    ; if you wish to block yahoo on your computer.
sometimes it needs a restart of computer to activate blocking website.

Enter In Desktop Without Knowing Password

If any one wants to enter in the desktop without knowing password then press  "ctrl+alt+del " while asks for password. then in the username dialogebox write "administrator".There you don't need to type any paassword  in the password box.
Just click o.k  to enter in the desktop.

Hiding Desktop Icon

If you Wish to hide the desktop items then simply click right button in the desktop. Then go to “ Arrange icon by > then uncheck the show desktop icons. Then the desktop icons will be hidden.

Enabling Hibernate on Computer

Sometimes we don’t get the hibernate option in windows XP or VISTA. We can enable it by  Control Panel> Power Options . Then in the Hibernate Tab, we check on Enable Hibernate. Again to disable it, just uncheck there.

Hiding a Folder

If you want to Hide any folder on your computer , then click right button on the folder. Click on the properties. On the general tab check Hidden & then click o.k.
The folder will be automatically hidden. If you want to see it, then go to My computer> Tools> Folder Option. In the VIEW tab, click on Show hidden files & folders. Then you will find the hidden files.

Shut Down Computer Faster

 Go to Start > Run, write ‘ regedit ’ and press Enter. Then the Registry Editor will run. Then click on " HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control"…… Click right button on the right side window “wait to kill service timeout "  & select “Modify”.  Now set “value data” into  5000. then press o.k… Now, shut down will be faster.
